![]() ![]() ![]() It is pretty clear a huge chunk of content was cut in the middle in order to push it out the door but they were already done with all of these side quests and the ending so they just kept it making the pacing just totally awful. the most obvious is pacing it is just really really bad you start out just getting this trickle of side quests with main story in a pretty good manner to then at a point just get dumped the remaining 50% of side quests and then the ending just drags on forever and just keeps going. it is pretty bad for non obvious reasons. I suggest switching out your squad periodically to hear the dialogue rather than get attached to a set pair It's not all gold but there is some interesting discussions and this can make some of the "go there, talk to the dude, come back" quests more entertaining. The combat is fun enough as far as third person power fantasies go but with no real strategic depth. ![]() I played through it fine and only had some minor bugs in animations and wall clipping. It was maddening to me that they had a whole system around using abilities in conjunction with each other (referred to as primer and detonator) but no way to issue squad ability commands to setup or trigger combos. I did a vanguard run and just ignored my squad and relied on charge to refresh shields in tougher encounters. So if you played the prior tribology more like an rts (my preference), this is not possible in Andromeda.Ĭompanions are basically just irrelevant in combat. You can now only give directional commands e.g. The game does not allow you to give specific squad commands to use an ability. As an addition to other comments, there is no real strategic combat in Andromeda. ![]()
